Crazed Fan

You don't have to be a hockey player to take part in this site and it's contests. The game wouldn't be what it is today without the fans!

Skill Levels

Beginner
You have just started to learn the game's basic skills. Don't give up, Intermediate is just around the corner!

Intermediate
You have grasped the core skills and have moved towards honing those skills. You wouldn't be the last player picked on the team anymore. You probably have at least a few years of experience to back you up. You may also be past your peak performing days and no longer wish to push it at the games.

Advanced
You've probably been playing for a while and are considered a strong player. You have honed many of your skills and possibly mastered a few. Perhaps you played some competitive hockey. Another scenario is that maybe you used to play junior or college but no longer wish to play at that level or at least your body doesn't want to!

Elite
Putting it simply, you are GOOD! Definitely played rep hockey somewhere and still possess a high level of skill. May consider yourself in the top 15% of all non-professional players.

Show/Not Show Your Profile
Taking a holiday? You can temporarily omit yourself from search results by checking one checkbox in your account. All you do is log into your account and hit the disable checkbox and this will stop your name from showing up in searches. Why would you want this? If you are taking a holiday and don't want your e-mail box to fill up with game notifications just disable your account. Or maybe you have an injury you're trying to mend and can't make the games, as a courtesy to yourself and your fellow PickUpHockey.com members you can just omit your account for a short while. Don't forget to enable it when you're back!
